Nantopietra 2007

Now at its 14th edition, NANTOPIETRA International Sculpture Contest wants to be a moment of synthesis between art and environment, culture and crafsmanship, matter and spaces. NANTOPIETRA's goal is that of giving new significance to sculpture by letting the artists' inspiration freewheel as they manipulate Berica Stone
NANTOPIETRA organizers intend to expand and increase the value of Berica Stone: on the one hand as sculpture material, on the other as the expression of a local industry that asks for confrontation and visibility on an internatioal level.

8 artists took part at the 2007 Nantopietra contest:
Pinto Fernando - Colombia (but now living in Barcelona);
Grattarola Stefano - Genoa
Choi Ji Hoan - South Korea (but living in Florence)
Luis Angel Sifuentes Gonzales Mamanka - Peru
